Hi, I got a call from no +91 8800793287 in the morning. The lady told me that she’s from sbi and they are upgrading my card from master to visa I corrected her that it was mastereo card not master She asked to confirm the card no she started telling me the no 6xxx n then in between asked me to confirm the no in the conversation i didn’t realized that it was me who was telling her the card no
Later she told me the benifits of this new card n told me that i’ll be recieving by monday, i told her that my current address is different. Then she said the delivery company will call me and i can update the address there. Then she started telling me that i have some reward points on my old card of about 10000 which has the same value as 10000 She told me about the points how i can use these points online or on the store. In between she said she’ll send me a code for it But instead i recieved a msg with otp for transaction of 998(1000 voucher as she told) firstly i was in confusion and as the conversation was going on she asked me for otp Considering her sbi person(still in doubt) i told her the otp Just after 30 sec the call was disconnected This moment i realized that it was a fraud call After multiple tries i was not able to connect the call and when i tried with someone else’s celphone the no was switched off. But luckily i was not having enough balance to complete the transaction my money was saved And soon i tried the tracking id she sent in a msg to me for the new card n there was no such tracking id
