Dear Sir/ Ma'am,

On 28th October 2017, I got a call from someone saying they are from snapdeal and this is there promotional offer. I have been chosen for lucky draw and I can get a gift if I buy products worth Rs. 4000. The numbers I got call from were 8795280631 and 9616252618. I checked the numbers on truecaller and it said snapdeal, so I thought it was genuine. Also I got email from the email id that is on the company's site (help@snapdeal.com).

Hence I choose aome products worth 4013 and paid through paytm on number 8924903160.

Then the next day was sunday so they said that on monday I will get a confirmation for the order by the dispatch department. On monday, I got a call from some Rajvir (8756610967) saying that I will have to pay the GST amount for chosen iphone 7 plus gift, which Rs. 8899. So I paid that alsothrough paytm in two installments ( 5000 & 3889 on number 8931836523). He said that once I do the payment, the GST payment will be done and I will confirmation in one hour. But I didn't get so. Next day I got a call again saying that the amount that I paid has gone into "Reflection mode" of the company's account and I will have to pay again the same amount but the amount will be refunded to me in the next 10 minutes. Since I had already paid 13000 tothem through paytm, I couldn't pay them 8899 again. So they told me to pay 6000 by paytm and then rest 2899 by debit card. So that day I paid again 6000 by paytm ( 5000 & 1000 on 8931836100) and I didn't get to speak to them yhe whole day again. Next day they called again saying to finish the rest payment by debit card. I do not why I still did not realise that it is a fraud. I told them to send me the link and I will pay but they said that I will have to tell the card number and cvv and the payment will be done through them. And like a fool, I gave it to them. Instead of withdrawing Rs. 2899, they told me the link is failing again and again and withdrew some Rs. 11500. The refund didn't happen and the call got cut. Then after two days again on Saturday (3.11.17), they called again saying that extra money got deducted and the money will be refunded. So they said my refund amount is 20,459 and they will refund it. But since their company's account is current account and mine is savings, for that deduction will happen again which will be added to my snapdeal account and then once all the money is added, one reference code will be generated through which all the money will be refunded in my account. So I gave them 20,000 again and their linked failed but they said only 18000 was added and the link is not working so they will call again but they didn't. Now today on 6.11.17, he called again said to add the rest 2459 and in that process I lost all the money in my account. In total, I have lost around Rs. 68000. I wrote to snapdeal also but didn't get any reply.

Those who are reading this will think what a stupid thing I did. But trust me I am a literate person and would have never done this in my right mind. When I got the call, I wanted to believe that I can get lucky too and did all this. If this can happen to me, then it can happen to anyone, please be aware. I never reply to any of these messages but god knows what happened to me this time.

Anyone who knows what can be done about this, please do let me know. I am working at my first job and lost all my salary money. Please help.

Please ARREST these people, because this is not the first time they have done this. I have read 2 more complaints on the same thing, where they did the same exact thing. Please help other people from making the same mistake.

Also please help me get my money back if there is anyway possible.

Thankyou.
