These people's have send mails and called us claiming that we have used their software, we have never their software, and we have responded to the their mail, but they are still sending mail and threatening us with the name of legal action. And asking us to buy their software.
With respect to our recent discussion, Please note the matter raised from our end is in context to installations of infringed copies in your organization & would able to resolve only with procurement of the same.
We would like to inform you that number of installations & number of licenses has to be equal, We are part of legal compliance wing of Corel Corporation and would not be calling any organization without any inaccurate information. Secondly, We understand your nature of business and requirement of Corel products which is not our decorum in compliance.
Compliance is a time-bound activity which should be legalized in given timeframe ,i.e. 7 working days from the date compliance has been initiated. would appreciate if you help us on your intend on regularizing the reported 3 Nos unlicensed deployment before 12th May 2021.

Trial versions are not applicable for commercial purpose in the organization. Also uninstalling the software is not a solution to the concerns raised, as per Copyright Act installing infringed copy of a software as per Section 63B is entitled to penalties & damages, Under the Indian Copyright Act, a software pirate can be tried under both civil and criminal law.
AIM of Compliance team is make the customer aware of the installations & possible Piracy of our software and help in legalization. As the first opportunity we expect customer to do a self audit and avail proof internally & if more information is required the legal team will be involved to act as per their typical process. Also note that, number of installation and the number of legal licenses cannot defer. Kindly be aware of the fact that installing / using unlicensed Corel Software would be grossly in breach of our End User License Agreement(EULA) and the same shall be treated as a civil wrong and a criminal offence under India Copyright Act Law 1957.
