Dear Sir/Ma'am,
I got a call from a person impersonating a person from Corel India. She accused me of using unlicensed software and when I told her that we don't use Corel Software, she kept on insisting. I realised that this is a fraud call and she will soon demand for money, I googled her name and a previous person had reported a similar incident from the same name. I thought I'll do the same.

My name is Nazmeen Faridi, representative on behalf of Corel in India. I am a part of the compliance team that deals with software legalisation of Corel products used in India.
Corel is a leading software developer based out of Canada with major offices in United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Taiwan, China, and Japan. Corel is the copyright owner of various products including but not limited to CorelDraw Graphics Suite, Painter, Particle Shop, CorelDRAW Technical Suite, Paint Shop Pro, Video Studio, PDF Fusion, WordPerfect Office, WinZip etc.
This mail is regarding the unlicensed installations / instances of “CorelDraw Graphics Suite” software installed / used in your organization. Technically, each installation/instance must be backed with a lawfully acquired licensed copy to use the product as per Corel Corporation’s licensing policy.
We therefore request your support to get your licenses regularized.
