This mail sent to me asking me details about cirek draw when i dont use any such softwares...think its fraud and asking people to share their licence key which a normal company wont generally ask.

I got the same call from Corelindia.co.in They send me the same template of Email and they got my email address from my website and my mobile number from the same website.

They told me we have found 3 instances of Coreldraw usage and said that support@customade.in and we have found instances of use since the past 3 months.

Now the fact is that we outsource our manufacturing and we dont know if that person is using license or no when we told them this they said that even if you have a cdr file on your computer it is illegal.

By the looks of it they are targeting every website that has graphics as their mainstay and are hitting hard. I suggest that if you are genuinely using the software then one should buy the original as if the software is benefiting you then you should ideally pay the people who work hard to make it.

However if like me you are not using the software then you should definitely reply to the email and provide them with whatever information they ask for. 

Not replying or ignoring will only make them want to prosecute you even more.

We would also like to highlight that in past, similar instance has been commenced which was never rectified by your organization and would appreciate if you considered this file to get settled amicably before the set timeframes.

Please note, as per our EULA ( End User License Agreement) any installation requires licenses procured in the name of the user organization in advance to use our products else all usages considered illegal and infringement upon our copyright. By knowing or unknowingly some employees might be using the unauthorized software, which need to be rectified by procuring licenses to regularize the usages.

Corel Corporation has Zero Tolerance on Infringement, and we believe you will respect and value the right of the copyright owner of product infringed upon and also will cooperate with us in this legalization drive to be 100% licensed usage.

Although we dont use any software from COREL we are getting these emails. Corel should check these.

I also get the same email, and Actually, I am a student and learning digital marketing. I just normally listed GMB listing for learning purposes. I am getting calls for 2 days. What should I do? and I also don't I used this software or not.

They are idiots thinking that everone is a fool around।।

We don't have any use of coral draw in our organisation। They had simply pulled in data from ROC and playing around।

 They are not fake. We had gone through the there compliance process.

Our organization was using Pirated Copies of there software and these people were contacting us to purchase there licenses and close the case. We though to ignore them but later after few days we received intimation letter about software.

then one day, they raid our organization and we paid penalties to them.

Hi all

None of the company to my experience will reach you unless you pirate their software, secondly, i dont believe the man who say he has complained and the police made the executive to apologise.. it must be totally wrong since police has no role. this guy must be fooling you all around..if they file a case against you, then its going to give you a painful taste of events and which land you in jail if you pirated their software. they will definitely have documents to prove your installations which they would have tracked to their best., 

you can do two things, one is settle with them amicably or not use their one before and after they reach you. copyright act in india is very stong and you cannot get out of it unless you are clean

i also recieved this kind of email , and even a person ended up in my office demanding me to buy one of his software. And threatened me to attend legal battle etc. I reported to local police where he instantly accepted that he is not genuine and apologised. They want to come and meet you then they will threaten with legal stuff . Please dont let these guys near your computer nor entertain them.

I got exactly the same mail and calls. Format is same but only name and number is changed a bit. Person name is 'Prathamesh Kargutkar' and number they used to call is
+91 22 4058 6539 (only last 2 digits are different from above given number by yours) . Please confirm what happened in your case, so it will help others?
